Coconuts, not chemicals

Healthy skin is a huge indicator of a healthy inside. Think about it - our largest organ takes a lot of damage and deserves a lot of care. It’s tough, yet sensitive. An important barrier between us and the harsh world.

This is how Nancy Grexton had a skin epiphany. She started noticing all the chemical ingredients in her daily-use drugstore skincare products. The ingredients in lip balms was alarming, because it meant Nancy was eating those chemicals.

Nancy couldn’t go back to buying those drugstore balms, so she researched how to make lip balms with natural and edible ingredients. Coconut oil was perfect as a base - its long-lasting, antioxidant-rich moisturizing powers cannot be ignored. After tweaking the recipes to perfection, Nancy began selling the products in 2009.

Now in 2020, she makes Adore Coconut products out of Queensland, Australia. Her sister Shauna has taken over the Manitoba chapter of AC, and together they spread the smoothy creamy coconut love!
